Dave Koller Discusses COVID-19 Vaccines

On Thursday, February 4th, Dave Koller appeared on Community Conversation presented by Lehigh Valley Public Media. Community Conversation is a series of forums that address today’s issues impacting communities in the Greater Lehigh Valley and beyond. Airing on PBS 39, Dave appeared on the edition called COVID-19 Vaccines: Fact vs Fiction.

About the Program

Confused about when and how to get a COVID-19 vaccine? This program examines the rollout of vaccines and the issues of supply and demand as millions in Pennsylvania become eligible in the first phase of distribution. We explore the impact on seniors, communities of color, schools and the workplace.

The entire program can be found here. Dave appears at approximately minute 43. He discusses COVID-19 vaccines in the workplace. He says company policies mandating vaccine are fine as long they do not violate other employment laws. For example, the policy cannot violate an employee’s rights under the American with Disabilities Act or other religious reasons.

Other Program Guests include:

Dr. Timothy Friel, Chair of the Dept. of Medicine, Lehigh Valley Health Network

Dr. Jeffrey Jahre, St. Luke’s University Health Network

Chrysan Cronin, Director and Associate Professor of Public Health at Muhlenberg College
