About Dave Koller

When it comes to my cases, I emphasize collegiality and try to litigate with dignity and respect for the profession and my clients. – Dave Koller

I am attorney Dave Koller and for the past decade I have represented employees with a wide range of employment law disputes and matters.

My Education And Legal Background

In 1999, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Thereafter, I attended Villanova Law School where I served as president of the student body. In 2002, I received my law degree and was given the honor of being a commencement speaker at my law school graduation ceremony.

After obtaining my J.D., I worked at various law firms in the area for roughly seven years. I was blessed to have an opportunity to represent one of the world's largest employers, gaining insight into many different aspects of employment law.

My Passion

Now, a decade later, I take pride in helping people who have been wronged, or those who need a voice and a partner to defend or pursue their rights. I suffered a stroke at the age of 33, but am a survivor, and am here to advocate for my clients — regardless of background, race, national origin, religion, lifestyle preference or disability.

My Cases

I am licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, have appeared before the federal courts in the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and have argued before the Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

I handle a wide range of matters — many of which are pro bono — and am actively litigating the following cases:

  • Wage payment and collection law
  • Sexual harassment
  • Title VII
  • Age discrimination
  • Disability discrimination
  • Unlawful retaliation
  • Sarbanes-Oxley violations
  • Federal False Claims Act (qui tam) cases
  • Pregnancy discrimination and the Equal Pay Act
  • Fair Labor Standards Act and criminal background checks
  • Breach of employment contracts
  • Public policy exceptions to the at-will employment law doctrine

My Reputation In My Community

I have a reputation for excellence and have been selected by my peers as a "Pennsylvania Super Lawyer – Rising Star," a distinction given to less than 3 percent of lawyers in Pennsylvania under the age of 40.

I have lectured at various law schools, hospitals, businesses and institutions on various aspects of the law and am a regularly featured columnist for The Legal Intelligencer, the nation's oldest legal publication.
